Once verified, RECES automatically records:

  • Payment Month
  • Payment Date
  • Payment Status

This information contributes to the tenant's rental history.

6

Rental Score Is Built

Every monthly payment helps establish a tenant's rental record.

Examples include:

🟢 Paid before due date → On Time

🟡 Paid after due date → Late

🟠 Awaiting owner verification → To Verify

🔴 No payment received → Unpaid

Over time, this creates a reliable payment history that reflects the tenant's consistency.

A strong rental history can make it easier for tenants to demonstrate responsible payment behavior when applying for future rentals.

7

Tenant Moves to a New Property

When the tenant relocates:

The owner marks the tenant as moved out.

RECES keeps the previous rental payment pattern safely archived.

The tenant can then be added to a new property by another owner.

This allows the tenant's rental payment pattern to continue across different properties without losing past records.

8

Future Property Owners Can Review Rental History

When a property owner is considering a prospective tenant, they can search for the tenant using their NRIC or Passport number (subject to RECES access controls and applicable privacy requirements).

The owner can view:

  • Current rental payment pattern
  • Previous rental payment pattern
  • Monthly payment pattern
  • Payment consistency
  • Payment verification status

This helps owners make more informed rental decisions based on documented payment records rather than relying solely on references
